In a classic study, Rushton and colleagues presented 20-item scale to assess the altruistic behavior of people: Self-Report Altruism (SRA) scale. This article focuses on development simplified 9-item scale—the 9-SRA scale—describing entire refinement validation procedure using exploratory confirmatory factor analysis.
